To access your digital fundraising optimised Looker Studio dashboard template take the following steps:
- Open the template by clicking this link (don’t worry if the dashboard loads with some errors displayed – it’s connected to the GA4 demo account, which often hits quota due to the number of requests through the connector)
- Make sure you have a GA4 data source connected to your website property (if you’re not sure then follow the steps below to create one)
- In the Looker Studio dashboard, click “make copy”
- Select your GA4 data source
- Give your new dashboard a name you’ll recognise – job done!
How to create a GA4 data source:
Creating a data source allows you to connect the GA4 dashboard template (above) to Looker Studio – you can then use Looker Studio’s powerful data filtering and visualisations to start interrogating your fundraising performance. Before you follow the steps below, please ensure you’re logged into the Google Account with access to your GA4 account and property.
- Log in to your Looker Studio account at: https://lookerstudio.google.com/
- Click “create” in the top left – then select “Data Source”
- Select Google Analytics (it should be on the fist row)
- Choose your GA4 account and property
