Jonathan Dawson
Jon is our global Director, he spends a lot of his time wrestling crocs, chasing kangaroos and dodging deadly spiders. When he’s not fabricating this kind of nonsense he dedicates his time to helping clients grow their digital results.
With over 15 years of experience in digital marketing, he started his career working in business-to-business marketing and has spent the last 10 years working in consumer-focused businesses ranging from the highly competitive financial services sector to major online retailers and not-for-profits.
Jon’s experience stretches across strategic business planning through to detailed execution and analysis of marketing campaigns that deliver real bang-for-buck. Jon has managed the launch of exciting new products and worked on international projects across multiple brands.
Jon built his marketing career focusing on how to use web analytics and customer insights to deliver measurable results for businesses. Whilst ensuring that every dollar invested in marketing activity is complemented by a robust optimisation plan to ensure maximum returns.

Joao has been the secret weapon behind the growth of multiple startups and digital companies, whipping up creative marketing campaigns and navigating the wild twists and turns of testing cycles like a pro rally driver. A die-hard fan of the lean startup methodology (yes, he’s that guy), Joao will fine-tune your marketing strategy to squeeze every last drop of ROI out of your KPIs — kind of like getting the last bit of toothpaste from the tube, but with way more impact.
When he’s off the clock, Joao swaps spreadsheets for spotlights, racking up over 100 karaoke covers. Impressive? Yes. Necessary? Debatable. While his singing skills might not land him a record deal, his bravery is undeniable. If he can belt out “Careless Whisper” in front of a live audience, you can absolutely tackle your own “guilty pleasure” anthem without fear. (No judgment here — we’ve all sung “Total Eclipse of the Heart” with feeling.)

Fueled by a passion for crafting marketing strategies that create real-world impact, he takes immense pride in seeing his efforts translate into meaningful results for the community. For him, there’s nothing more rewarding than watching a non-profit organisation thrive because of a well-executed digital campaign. It’s like planting a seed of strategy and nurturing it into a flourishing success story.
When not immersed in analytics or brainstorming creative ideas, the gym becomes his sanctuary. Weightlifting is more than a hobby—it’s a source of energy and motivation, keeping him strong enough to tackle challenges and maybe even lift the occasional bulky laptop bag.

Fueled by a love for creative storytelling and razor-sharp strategy, she’s become a force in the digital universe. To her, digital marketing is like one big, ever-changing canvas—constantly inviting her to toss on a new layer of innovation. When she’s off the clock, Kelsie can be found knee-deep in art supplies or plotting her next move in an intense board game face-off. Because really, what’s life without a dash of creativity and a sprinkle of (friendly) competition?

When she’s not knee-deep in marketing magic, you can bet she’s somewhere petting a furry friend or delighting in a horror movie bloodbath. In her downtime, Pooja is either unwinding on a beach or living her best life in a dog cafe—because really, what’s better than sand, sun, and slobbery smiles?

Caitlin is beyond excited to join the team at Digital Ninjas in Sydney! She’s from Massachusetts in the United States and attends school in Florida at the University of Tampa and is studying marketing and leadership with a graduation date of May 2025. In her free time, she enjoys going to workout classes, running, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family. A fun fact about Caitlin is that she was actually a Ninja for her first-ever job (wait what!? We thought we were the only ones)! Caitlin is excited to explore all the adventures Australia will bring and is looking forward to enriching her marketing skills at Digital Ninjas!

Arbiyan is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to digital marketing. Don’t missattribute his “jack-of-all-trades” character with a lack of depth of experience; Arbi has more than seven years of experience in digital marketing.
He has proven experience in paid ads management, growth hacking (not to be mistaken with computer hacking) and has experience with campaigns across the board. All of this makes him the perfect t-shaped digital marketer.
Outside work, he enjoys learning new things through a good book and coffee. When he’s not expanding his mind, you’ll find him busy growing his muscles by lifting heavy at the gym.

Deepika comes from an agency background with a love of all things Google. She has 5 years experience running campaigns across all channels and industries, and is known for her talent in understanding analytics and using insights to help clients amplify their strategies.
When she’s not knee-deep in digital campaigns, she can be found curled up with a Harry Potter book, catching the latest TV shows, or hanging out with friends. Not to mention chasing her very active toddler every other moment.

After earning his Masters in Marketing, Wasim started his career in Digital Marketing. His curiosity in digital trends have come a long way since then. Wasim’s 4 years of experience stretches across strategic campaign planning through to detailed execution. His experience spans across different industries including: Non-Profits (Charities) Automobiles, Healthcare, Food, Education and others.
Wasim considers himself a big foodie and a movie junkie. When he is not working, you’ll probably find him in a restaurant or at a movie theatre. He also works as a volunteer helping kids in education.
Other than that, he is keen a keen writer, and spends time honing his storytelling skills when he can.

She started as an SEO Assistant which gave her solid foundation for leaping into the world of paid search. From having zero background to Digital Marketing, she proved that it’s not your college degree that defines you but your drive to learn something new everyday.
A mom of 3 girls. If not at work, she enjoys tuning in to the latest TV shows, surfing the web and catching up with friends. A true counsellor at heart, she will give you the best advice (in more areas than just paid search).

He has a natural flair for understanding digital trends and leveraging them according to our marketing objectives. While pursuing his Master of Business (Marketing), he helped small businesses find their niche and build their presence online. His career in marketing so far has seen him working in a number of roles that have helped him become the tech wizard he currently is. He has developed deep knowledge in digital fundraising best practice so he’s equipped with the right tools and knowledge to help deliver on our clients needs.
He is an adventure junkie with a penchant for designing. When not found studying online, he can be seen binging on different vegetarian cuisines, supporting the Indian Cricket team, or collecting miniatures for his little museum.
Aman uses his understanding of audience’s consumption behaviour, knowledge of emerging and existing digital platforms and performance insights to grow businesses.

Melby has over 13 years of experience in business and digital marketing. Back in her home country of Indonesia, she grew her business from one branch to more than a hundred branches in less than 5 years. She’s now focusing some of her time helping business owners build their businesses through the power of digital marketing while drinking chai latte on her desk (addicted much?).
If you can’t find her in the office or she’s not answering your call, she’s probably busy doing bungee jumping or skydiving to keep her adrenaline levels up.

Fiona is a marketing fanatic. She has worked in the world of digital for more than 8 years in a variety of roles ranging from agency to client side. She has managed hundreds of different digital marketing clients from small sole traders to large multinational companies. Her experience spans across a huge variety of industries, particularly automotive, IT, Health & Beauty and eCommerce.
In her spare time she loves exploring Queensland, pottering in the garden and getting her yoga on.
